I’ve been the person your store is missing.
For three and a half years I was the director of technology at an 8-figure DTC brand in San Diego — the in-house owner of every problem this site talks about. Slow pages before a launch. An app stack that grew faster than revenue. Ops rituals that ate a team’s Mondays. Three systems with three opinions about inventory. My job was making all of it work, and measurably: a $1M logistics migration, an 8% conversion lift, 10+ weekly ops hours automated, and three systems that finally agreed on inventory.
Before that: engineering school in Paris (embedded systems — I’ve debugged both circuit boards and checkout flows), a master’s in program management, product roles at Parrot and Enedis, and freelance builds from a franchise management platform to IoT sensors. Plus a certificate in AI business strategy from UC Berkeley’s Haas School — which mostly taught me when not to use AI.
I’m also an FAA-certified private pilot. Flying and e-commerce systems reward the same habit: trust your instruments, run the checklist, and never ignore a small anomaly — because small anomalies compound.
French, bilingual, US-based. I work with US brands primarily; French and EU brands welcome — GDPR was part of my job, not a mystery.
Now
I take a small number of engagements alongside my full-time role. Small by design — you get me, not juniors billing under my name.
Wondering what I’d find in your store?
